Welcome to the 4th Annual International Wireless Symposium and Exhibition (IWS-2016) in Shanghai!
Sponsored by the IEEE MTT-S, the fourth IWS is an international conference and exhibition based in China that brings together innovators from around the world to discuss the burgeoning wireless and connected devices that are revolutionizing our lives today. IWS hosts this major international technical conference alongside a three-day exhibition in an effort to create meaningful interaction between the commercial, research and academic communities. China is the fastest growing market for wireless/RF products and IWS delivers the information, interaction with worldwide experts, and commercial products necessary to satisfy market demands.
This year’s conference theme is the Internet-of-Things (IOT), and IWS-2016 will have numerous special invited papers and workshops that will discuss the various technical and market requirements needed for IOT’s widespread adoption.
We expect more than 200 papers presented in multiple parallel tracks, with over a hundred industrial/research exhibitors. The papers presented at IWS will be archived in IEEE Xplore. In addition, there will be Mini-Special Issues devoted to the 2016 IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium (IWS 2015) in the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques (IEEE T-MTT). Selected authors of accepted and presented papers at IWS 2016 will be invited to submit an expanded version of their papers to the Mini-Special Issue for consideration.
The IWS is intended to link attendees and exhibitors from all parts of the wireless community, linking China and the world, and has become the major IEEE global wireless event you won't want to miss.
We look forward to seeing you in Shanghai!
